In 1998, I started my career in the mortgage business as a Loan Officer. 25 years later, I’m still going strong originating loans and I feel blessed to have had such a great career helping thousands of people get into a new home. Although my career has evolved into management responsibilities, as well as originating mortgages, at the end of the day, it is all about helping the consumers. Consumers deserve the best terms on their mortgages, but beyond that, they deserve to have a great experience. Applying for a mortgage is stressful, it’s even stressful for me and I work in the business. My goal is to facilitate a stress-free process, not only delivering the best mortgage terms, but educating and guiding my clients into what is in their best interest. Only top loan officers take the time to educate, and my goal is always to be a top loan officer.

I originally started my career in Columbia, SC and moved it to the coast in 2003. I spent time in the beginning of my career as a mortgage broker up through 2005, then I moved into working for a national builder in 2006, up until I joined the Shelter family in 2013. During this time, I have racked up extensive knowledge of many, many mortgage products and options. These products would include but are not limited to Conventional, Jumbo, FHA, VA, USDA, Construction-Perm, Non-QM and on and on.
